Flexmesh
VICO-Stillflex is the hexagonal mesh.

It is used for armouring and retaining abrasion and acid-resistant linings as well as heat insulating linings applied to vessels, FCC units, cyclones and furnaces.

VICO-Stillflex is made of formed steel strips connected with rods in such a way as to guarantee perfect flexibility of the panels during installation without any pre-rolling operation.

Typical applications for VICO-Stillflex flexmesh are: cyclone diplegs, cyclone bracings, air distributor cylinders "wye sections"and any other pipes with narrow diameters.


Hexsteel Metal Hex Grid Refractory Lining 


Hex metal refractory lining is a hexagonal cellular mesh grating specifically designed for reinforcing both linings and flooring. The hex steel mesh acts as a surface framework to hold cement or refractory in position, and relieves stress in the lining's upper crust, which prevents spalling and cracking. As a result of hex metal's strength and unique design, abrasion and corrosion are retarded and refractory life is significantly extended. Even hot gaseous substances cannot erode the refractory because they are reflected away from the surface by the metal cellular grid.

The main style of Hex Mesh
Hexsteel: Bonding Hole Type

Instead of lance tabs, holes are punched through the walls of the hexmetal cell. Refractory can then flow through these holes to achieve a bond from one cell to another.

Hex-metal: Pronges/Lances Type

This style has lance tabs protruding from the walls of the hexagonal cell to act as anchorage for the refractory.
