Aluminum Expanded Corner Bead Reinforces Plaster for wall protection
This kind of corner bead can also be written as expanded corner beads or diamond mesh corner beads. Popularly made of expanded metal sheets, it has a opening pattern of diamond mesh.
Expanded diamond mesh corner bead serves as a plastering stop to ensure a neat finish. It is designed to provide strong corner reinforcement for conventional plaster applications. A solid metal nose provides a straight, rigid ground and the 2-5/8" flanges can be easily flexed over irregular, uneven surfaces.
The expanded beads are easily installed using standard industry practice. Plaster keys near solid nose provide reinforcement where needed most to ensure straight corners. we offer this product in both galvanized steel and zinc plating for your choice. The expanded flange grounds can be 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", or 3/4" (1", 1-1/8", 1-1/4" and 1-1/2").
Wide expanded metal flange beads provide additional rigidity and strength with its reinforced flanges. This product is for use on masonry, beams, and column fireproofing. Combination of expanded flanges and pronounced bead nose ensures successful corner alignment and efficient plaster keying from edge to nose. This product is produced in the material of galvanized steel (zinc coating is available for special order) with full stiffening ribs to enhance durability.
Angle Bead Materials: Galvanized Steel, Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Zinc (99% pure zinc) Alloy. Wing Size: 30 mm, 40 mm, 50 mm, 60 mm, 70 mm. Length: 1 m - 2.85 m.
Flat Diamond Metal Lath
Flat diamond metal lath is manufactured by slitting and stretching galvanized steel sheets to form small openings, thereby allowing the plaster keys to be bonded to the lath and offering better crack resistance and higher strength. Each sheet has square ends and smooth parallel edges for fast, easy handling and installation.
Flat diamond metal lath is used as plaster base and reinforcement on almost all type of walls, ceilings, over wood or steel framing, flat or curved surfaces. The large number of openings provide better stucco bonding property.
Diamond Expanded Metal Lath
Diamond Expanded Metal Lath is a kind of metal lath with asphalt saturated kraft building paper applied on the back to control moisture, air flow and reduce air infiltration, thereby providing improved energy efficiency. It is easy to install and is an ideal choice for serving as a base for stone, ceramic tile and traditional stucco.
The paper is waterproof. It provides sheathing protection against moisture during curing and forms a vertical surface behind the exterior wall cladding (stucco, brick, siding, etc.) to allow moisture safely drain out of the wall system.
Self-Furring Dimpled Metal Lath
Self-furred dimpled metal lath is manufactured with evenly spaced indentations that hold the metal lath 1/4" away from the surface to be plastered to allow the plaster or stucco to be embedded more thoroughly into the lath and provide excellent mechanical bonding over the surface to be plastered.
Self-furring dimpled metal lath is extensively used in plaster works and serves as plaster reinforcement over interior masonry walls and in steel column fireproofing, or functions as a reinforcement for base coat in ceramic tile works.
Self-furring dimpled metal lath is also available with asphalt paper backing.
Self-Furring V-Groove Metal Lath
Self-furring v-groove metal lath is manufactured with 1/4" deep grooves and 5 grooves per sheet. These grooves are spaced 6" on the center along the length of the sheet and allow a thorough embedment into and behind the lath for superior mechanical bonding.
Self-furring v-groove metal lath is easily shaped for curved or contoured surfaces. It helps maintain consistent plaster depths and eliminates the need for added furring strips. To maintain the furring characteristics of v grooves, fasteners must be applied within the v-cavity.
Self-furring v-groove metal lath is widely used in plastering over surfaces such as concrete, cement board, column fireproofing, masonry surfaces as well as replastering over old surfaces. In addition, self-furring v-groove metal lath is available with asphalt paper backing.
Rib Lath With High Strength and Great Plaster Bonding Capacity
Rib lath is manufactured by punching and profiling galvanized steel sheet or stainless steel sheet.
Rib lath, also known as expanded ribbed lath, has V-ribs to offer an increased tensile strength and give a uniform plastering depth over a large coating area. Compared with common metal lath, V ribs provide added support capacity and its unique structure offers better permeability, thereby delivering greater plaster bonding and fixing properties.
It is extensively used in plastering works on walls and suspended ceilings and serves as plaster base for building construction.
Rib lath without paper
Rib lath without paper has herringbone mesh patterns and 7 longitudinal solid steel ribs with a depth of 3/8" at an interval of 3-7/8" across the sheet.
Rib lath provides a maximum span of 24" on center. It can be used both vertically and horizontally to provide superior strength and exceptional rigidity. It is widely used in ceiling, wall and column plaster works.
Kraft paper-backed rib lath
Compared with rib lath without paper, kraft paper-backed rib lath not only provides superior strength and exceptional rigidity, but also limits the loss of plaster when being applied on open framing.
